Flanno for a Farmer
Friday 14 August | Dust off your flanno. It’s time to give back.
The Dock is going full country in support of Australian farmers. Free entry, live country and western music, a fundraising keg, and a whole lot of community spirit – this is The Dock’s biggest community day of the year, and we want you there.
All donations and funds raised goes directly to Farm Angels – an organisation standing beside Aussie farmers through drought, flood, and fire.
What’s On
From the moment you walk in, The Dock should feel like the countryside on the waterfront. The venue is transformed with country and western theming, staff in flannos and cowboy hats, and a lineup built around the spirit of the day.
Live country and western entertainment sets the tone in the arvo, rolling into a DJ set to keep the night going – dust off your cowboy boots, the classics are on the setlist.
At the bar, Travla is getting behind the fundraising with some on-the-day specials, and limited-edition Travla x Flanno for a Farmer stubby holders are on sale for $5 each. General donations are welcome all day. Come as you are, bring your crew, and make a Friday knock-off mean something.
Why It Matters:
Hospitality runs on what farmers grow. The produce on our plates, the grain in our beers – none of it exists without the people working the land. Farm Angels has been quietly supporting Australian farmers through some of the toughest seasons this country has seen. On 14 August, we’re giving something back. Every Travla, raffle ticket, and flanno worn makes a difference.
Wear your flanno. Bring your mates. Make it count.
Free entry – no bookings required – all welcome
